How to Unlock Estinien Varlineau as a Trusted NPC
With the release Shadowbringers expansion, Square Enix added the ability for players to run Final Fantasy 14 Dungeon content with companion NPCs instead of other players. These joint ventures are called Trusts and are pioneers in Final Fantasy 14 players to experience the content.
Trust is a way for players progress through MSQ at their own pace with a group of their choice. This allows for mechanical practice and ensures no one messes up the content. In Shadowbringers, The player can use Alphinaud, Alisaie, Crystal Exarch, Luna, Thancred, Urianger, Minfilia, Y’shtola, Ryne and G’raha Tia as the case may be. With the release Endwalker, Estinien has now joined the ranks of trusted NPCs. Here’s how players can get him on their team.
Who is Estinien?
Estinien Varlineau is the current Azure Dragoonand introduced the Dragoon class with his appearance in A realm of rebirth. He continues to play an important role in Heavensward story and made his back in Stormblood, Shadowbringersand Endwalker extension. He was instrumental in defeating Nidhogg and Lunar Bahamut. After the second man’s defeat, he officially joined the Scions.
How to Unlock Estinien
Estinien is unlocked automatically once the player reaches Zot Tower at level 81 in Scenario mode. From there, he is available in Scenario Mode for Zot Tower, Babil Tower, Vanaspati, The Aitiascope, and The Dead Ends in Avatar mode. Azure Dragoon lives up to its title and is available as a Dragoon, thus being a melee physics DPS character. Unlike other NPCs, Estinien cannot be used as an external Trust ally Endwalker Content.
Scenario mode is available for players whose mission objective is to escape in MSQ. Talking to NPCs at the dungeon’s entrance will give the player the ability to build a party based on existing characters. Avatar mode allows players to enter dungeons they have completed using a larger roster of NPCs. The player can also change the NPC’s beauty to one of their previous appearances.
Endwalker’s The story has been praised by critics and fans alike, so the journey to Unlock Azure Dragoon must be an interesting one. He is a powerful ally to have in a dungeon, and his skills have only become more formidable since then. Shadowbringers.
