How to unlock and complete the Gjjallarhorn catalyst

Fate 2 is currently in the middle of the season and has dropped new content for players to enjoy. Above all, Bungie is celebrating its 30th anniversary, bringing exciting new weapons to the game like the iconic laser sword from Halo series.
Another powerful weapon coming to the game is the Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher weapon. This weapon and its weird Catalyst, available after purchasing Bungie’s 30th anniversary pack and unlocking Weapon Gjallarhorn in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon.
However, there is a complicated process to unlock this particular catalyst. After completing the dungeon, fans will need to go back inside and fight the Reaver Vandals and open some chests. So for Fate 2 Fans looking to speed up the launch of their powerful rockets quickly, here’s how to get Strange Catalyst.
First Strange Catalyst Chest
The first chest is located right around where the player crosses the crystal bridge. The Reaver Vandal should drop from the top right and it’s important to only damage the Reaver until the player gets the “Burden by Riches” debuff.
After getting that, fans will only have about 30 seconds to return to the starting point of the bridge and open the chest at the top of the metal grid. Of course, nothing will come out of the chest, but don’t worry, this is part of the quest.
Second Strange Catalyst Chest
The second chest can be found behind a long red illuminated staircase with a falling boulder trap. Continue through the hallway until fans find a second Reaver Vandal next to some boxes.
After the player receives the debuff, jump on those boxes to the opening in the air duct in the ceiling. Keep turning right until the player is in a new spacious room. Jump forward onto the platform, then jump to the platform on the right-hand side to open the second chest.
Third Strange Catalyst Chest
A third chest can be opened after fans finish their encounter with the Fallen Shield. Using the cannon, aim it at the dome-shaped buildings with purple overlays next to the mini waterfall. The third Reaver Vandal will be near the dome building towards the back cave wall.
After the player receives the debuff, use any mobile device Fate 2 ability to quickly return to canon. The chest will be located on the roof of the dome-shaped building towards the center of the dungeon.
If the player does everything right, this chest will grant Fate 2 Strange catalyst for the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher.
Fate 2 available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
