How to solve the magic puzzle lantern bulb 7-9 in Genshin

The Lantern Rite Festival enters its final phase in The Genshin effect, with the final puzzles of the Wonder Shadows and Lantern Riddles side events, here’s how you can solve them.

Lantern Riddles 7, 8 and 9 were difficult and I couldn’t really solve any of them within the deadline before the hint appeared. What I recommend you do is intentionally wait for the deadline to end to check the hint and the Riddle Progress bar in the bottom left. When you’re close to solving the puzzle, the puzzle’s Progress bar will begin showing your puzzle completion percentage. This will make these final puzzles easier to solve.

7th lantern puzzle solution

Puzzle 7 is actually a deer, it is a moon hunter adepti. See the final shape of the shadow in the screenshot below. You have two Segments to move along with the full Image.

I really doubt that most players will get close to the solution before the deadline runs out seeing how accurate these final puzzles are. As always, make sure you’ve placed each Segment of the ball facing the correct side of the screen, or you won’t complete the puzzle.

8th Lantern Puzzle Solution in Dark Magic

The 8th puzzle is actually a picture of a Flower in bloom. There are two Fragments that also need to move here, along with the full Image. See the screenshot below for the final result.

The 9th and final Lantern puzzle turned out to be the Crane, which is the Cloud Keeper. This one is super complicated with 3 different Segments to move along with the full Image.

Wonder Shadows Ultimate Reward

Note that you only get Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore and Hero’s Wit for solving the last three puzzles. You don’t get any Primogems or Wealth Charms.

So if you can’t solve these puzzles, you just give up. While I definitely recommend doing them even if you’re a veteran player, Hero’s Wit and Mora are resources you’ll always need. Mystical strengthening ores, not so much, as you can forge them.
