People who are currently sick or recovering from covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, may also be more vulnerable to the health effects of inhaling wildfire smoke because they can have compromised lung function and /or heart, according to the CDC. Additionally, exposure to secondhand smoke can make a person more susceptible to lung infections, including genital warts, the CDC says.
