How to play Snowball Fight in VALORANT

Snowball Fight in VALUABLE launched last year, and it looks like it’s become a tradition.
The holiday season is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time for developers to include season greetings in their games. The limited-time game mode is now back, and players are free to snowball each other in a five-on-five format. In addition to the snowballs, players can also skate around the Icebox and open themed gifts.
During the Snowball Battle, players will not be able to use their agent’s abilities and they will only have access to the Snowball Launcher from the start of the match. A Snowball hit results in a hit-kill, which means the player will need to be quick to stay alive.
Players will need to select it as the game and queue mode for Snowball Fight, just like for ranked and regular matches.
When you join Snowball Fight, you will need to familiarize yourself with the four mechanics. There are different types of snowballs and each can be used in different situations.
- Growballs
- These snowballs grow larger as they move through the air, increasing their area of impact.
- Rapid fire
- Rapid Fire allows the player to shoot multiple Snowballs in a short time.
- Ricochet
- Ricochet allows Snowballs to bounce off the ground and walls.
- Ice skates
- Skates increase the player’s movement speed and maximum jump height.
Completing a Snowball Fight rewards the player with 750 XP. The winner will be rewarded with 150 XP, so the maximum XP you can get from a Snowball match is 900.
During this time of year, players will also be able to obtain seasonal skins through various challenges and the in-game shop. These cosmetics don’t come back for a year, and only some of them may come back next year — so don’t miss out on your favorites.
