How to play Rainbow Six Extraction / Siege on PC Game Pass

You can now play both Rainbow Six Extraction and Siege via PC Game Pass, but this will need quick confirmation on Ubisoft’s website. Here’s how.

Rainbow Six Extract is a brand new branch of Rainbow Six The franchise focuses on co-op-based PvE gameplay rather than offering an otherwise competitive PvP experience.

While Extraction uses Surroundof operators and lore as a base, it strives to provide a different experience. Although the game still has a gunfight gameplay similar to Surroundthe challenges you face are completely different.

Unlike other titles, play Rainbow Six Extract and Surround via PC Game Pass will require you to always run it on Ubisoft Connect. The only thing you need to do on the Xbox App is to prove an active PC Game Pass subscription to Ubisoft.

After launching the Xbox App on your PC, you may discover Rainbow Six Extract and Surround options among featured games. Click it and you’ll be redirected to a link on your browser, which requires you to sign in to your Xbox/Microsoft account, then link it to your existing or new Ubisoft Connect account.

Once done, you will notice a green check mark on the screen. Now you should download and install Ubisoft Connect application on your PC. Sign in to the account you linked to your Xbox account and you should be able to see both Rainbow Six Extract and Surround in your Ubisoft Connect library.

If they are not there, wait a few hours until they are added. But again, if you can’t see them in your library, try contacting Ubisoft’s Support team.

You can install and play both games through Ubisoft Connect without launching the Xbox App or signing in to Xbox Game Services.
