How to level up fast in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

In Pokémon Legend: Arceusthere are a lot of new mechanics that the previous mainstream Pokémon games don’t use, so the traditional methods to level up quickly are no longer viable.

No trainers repeat battles or gyms for extra XP in Legend: Arceus, so what are players doing to level up faster? Here are some methods that players can use to level up their Pokémon instantly.

Expired. Candy from Pokémon Alpha

Pokémon Alpha reduces Exp. Candy and it is reported that Alpha Chansey and Blissey dropped more candies. It would be worth joining any Alpha Pokémon if you come across one and have a Pokémon strong enough to defeat them. You should only engage Pokémon Alpha if you are three or more ranks higher than any rank you entered the area. For example, in Obsidian Fieldlands, you start with a Star rank of 0. To reach Alpha Pokémon in that area, you’ll want to have a three or four Star rank before joining them.

In particular, for Alpha Chansey and Blissey, head to the Obisidian Fieldlands for Blissey, who is in the mountains to the right of Obsidian Falls, and for Chansey, to the Tombolo Walk in the Cobalt Coastlands.

Mass Outbreak

Mass outbreaks are great for hunting Shiny, and they’re also great for getting lots of Pokémon noggins with Pokéballs. Once you catch them, they will grant XP to the whole party, possibly even leveling up your whole party instead of just granting them one by one with Exp. Candy. Plus, there’s the added bonus that you’ll encounter Shiny while catching.

Buy Exp. Candy

Instead of crushing Alpha Pokémon, you can choose to buy candy from Bonn at his Candy Shop right next to the Trading Post in Jubilife Village. The downside of his shop is that the candy is quite expensive, so combine this method with the mass stamping method.

The more Pokémon you send to the Professor, the more coins you get, and there are even rewards for having more than 20 Pokémon registered in the same report. Take coins from there and buy as many candies as you can to level up your Pokémon.
