How to Incubate Eggs from Hearthome Hiker and What’s Inside

Pokemon Eggs have been a feature in the series since the second generation with Gold Pokemon and Silver Pokemon. Players can bring eggs but they take up a place in their battle group, which can be inconvenient. However, after walking/running/biking a certain number of steps, Eggs will hatch, and a baby Pokemon will come out of them.
In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, the player can use the daycare center to create two spawning Pokemon to develop baby Pokemon Eggs. However, the first Pokemon Egg that the player will receive is from a certain Pokemon trainer located in Hearthome City. Hiker will stand at the south end of the city near the entrance to 209 Street. Players can talk to him to add the egg to their party, but they will need an empty spot first.
How do you hatch eggs in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl?
Players will only need to travel to hatch the egg that the Walkers give them, namely 10000 steps. Brilliant diamond and Shining pearls the player should use the pedometer app on their Poketch device to keep track of how many steps they took after getting the egg. Cycling is the fastest way to hatch eggs if the player is in a hurry to find what’s inside Hiker’s egg.
What’s inside a hiker’s egg?
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players will find a Happy baby once they have reached 10000 steps. Happy is a Normal-type Pokemon that can evolve into Chansey when the trainer leveled it up during the day while it was holding an Oval Stone. Go to get an Oval Stone, it can be found on The second floor of the Tower is lost.
From there, Chansey can evolved into Blissey by increasing its friendship level. Having an exceptionally high defense level makes the Blissey an absolute tank in Pokemon battles and can certainly be a great addition to any trainer’s party. Since all three Pokemon in the evolution line are of Normal type, players only need to watch out for potential Battle-style moves from their opponents.
