How to get to Leyndell Royal Capital in Elden Ring

How to get to Leyndell Royal Capital in Elden Ring

Leyndell, the Royal Capital is one of the improvised areas in Elden Ringand home to one of the toughest bosses, Godfrey.

Before entering Leyndell, you will need to have two Great Runes. You can get them by killing Godrick at Stormveil Castle and Rennala at the Academy of Raya Lucaria.

In addition, you need to activate the Great Rune of Godrick. To do so you should go to one end of Limgrave Tower Bridge from Stormveil Castle and then use the portal to get to Limgrave’s Divine Tower, at the top you can activate the Great Rune.

Now, it’s time to go to Leyndell, Royal Capital. This city has a large entrance, but the door of this entrance is closed from the beginning before entering the capital. So you will need to go through the back door, and it cannot be done until you kill the Draconic Tree Sentinel at the location marked below. (Thank you, GamerGuru!)

There is a door right behind this boss that is blocked by magic, once you kill him the door will open and it will lead you to Leyndell.
