How to unlock Platinum Style in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl
The first step to unlocking a Platinum skin is to purchase Brilliant diamond or Shining pearls before Monday, February 21, 2022. Indeed, this style is being offered as a bonus for Pokemon fan purchase these games “soon” and those who meet that requirement can find information on how to claim in-game skins below. Unfortunately, players reading this guide after that date will not be able to own this special skin.
With that established, the next thing players interested in this skin have to do is Unlock the Mystery Gift in Pokemon BDSP. This can be done by accessing Jubilife TV and talking to the man in the sunglasses on the third floor of the building, although the player must defeat the Gym Leader in Oreburgh City first. In this chat, fans should select “Happy Wi-Fi Everyone” to make the Mystery Gifts tab appear in the menu.
The player will now click on that Mystery Gift tab and select “Receive over the Internet”. After a short while, fans will see “Clothes Gift” appear and they should select it to unlock Platinum Style. When that’s done, fans can head to Veilstone City’s Metronome Style store, where they can change clothes inside Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining pearls and put on completely new outfits.
It should be noted, players who are accessing the “Get Over the Internet” section of their Mystery Gifts for the first time will also receive an egg. That egg will hatch into one Manaphy in Pokemon BDSP, giving fans easy access to Mythical Pokemon. As a reminder, this bonus will only be available until February 21, 2022, and players who missed that deadline will need to find another way to add this Water-type Pokemon, or its evolution, to their team.
