How to get Null Taste

Dawning is all about giving gifts and baking special treats for Fate 2The most famous NPC, can be made by collecting various ingredients from the core activities and locations of the game. This quick guide explains how to get a very specific ingredient: Null Taste.

Get the Null Taste

Most of the ingredients needed to make and bake cakes in Fate 2 obtained by defeating the game’s enemies in various ways. Explosions will provide a certain ingredient, killing Vex will give another ingredient, etc. There are two main ways for the player to obtain Null Taste:

• Void Abilities and Super Kills
• Void weapons kill

These can be obtained against any enemy in any activity or location, meaning one of the best candidates for getting lots of Null Taste in Fate 2 in The Dawning 2021 is playing Dares of Eternity. This activity was released in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary Pack and it is one of the most populated of all Fate 2 when it comes to enemy density.

Having Starhorse’s backing is also an essential aspect of the whole thing, as it provides the player with infinite Special and Heavy ammo for all weapons. As such, players can easily equip their best Void weapons and run around Dares of Eternity, just kill all they find.

Weapons and AoE abilities work best for this process, so classes like Sentinel Titan combined with Doom Fang Pauldron or Warlocks using Handheld Supernova along with Contraverse Hold are the best choices. Fate 2Hunter’s class is now the worst class for PvE, but Void Hunters can still get a bunch of Null Tastes by using Nightstalker and Orpheus Rig on the tree.

For weapons, earn Void like Falling Guillotine and The other half also great, although the best weapons to use are the Null Composure for the Energy slot and the Deathbringer for the Heavy slot. Overall, earning Null Taste isn’t too hard right now, and the only thing players have to worry about is actually scoring those kills. If group activities become difficult for that purpose, it would be wise to just play alone and perhaps delve into the densely populated Lost Regions, like Perdition on Europa.
