How to get into Team Galactic Warehouse
Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl players hoping to explore Team Galactic’s warehouse will need a Storage Key. Here’s when and where to find it.
There are not too many points in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining pearls when players find their way ahead is blocked. However, when it happened, it can be a bit confusing sometimes. This is because, unbeknownst to the player, there are some points throughout the game when the player encounters an obstacle that is truly insurmountable until much later.
One such example can be found in Veilstone City, where there can be a locked door at Team Galactic Warehouse. Brilliant diamond & Shining pearls the player is looking for a key that does not exist yet. This is because they are not allowed through this door until much later in the story, however, as with similar obstacles, the game doesn’t really make all this clear.
How to get into Team Galactic Warehouse
There are actually two points in the story where the player will need to get inside the Team Galactic Warehouse, the first of which happens after the player has beat Maylene at Veilstone City Gym. Upon leaving the gym, Dawn will approach the player and reveal that some of Team Galactic’s Grunts took her Pokedex and asked the player to help get it back.
From here, players will need to head to the warehouse northwest of Veilstone City and team up with Dawn to defeat the two grumblers. After doing so, they will be able to get inside the warehouse by going up the stairs on the right and going through the door. Inside, they will find Fly HM, which will allow them to instantly travel to any town or city they’ve visited from the Town Map menu or their Poketch screen.
The locked door inside the warehouse cannot be opened at this time, however, as the player won’t be able to get their hands on the key needed to unlock it until later in the story. To be more precise, they would find the key by reaching Team Galactic’s Headquarters in Veilstone City after exploring Sinnoh’s three great lakes. When they arrive, a grumbler will run away and drop Storage key when they run away.
Only after the player has obtained the Storage Key can they open the door inside the warehouse. Doing so will allow them to explore the basement beneath Team Galactic’s headquarters, where they will be able to find the Galactic Key needed to open the locked doors inside the Headquarters. That way, players will be able to find a Master Ball as well as some other great items.
