How to get Feathers and what are they used for

Fortnite’s latest update introduces Feathers as a new item, but players may be confused about how to get them and what they’re used for.
Fortnite almost constantly adding new content for players to explore, from gameplay mechanics to LTMs, POIs, etc. This is especially true when it comes to in-game items, including one that recently became available. added: Feathers.
Epic Games’ hugely popular free-to-play battle royale has entered the first season of a new Chapter 3, introducing a new island along with a growing list of new items. Fortnite just released update v19.20adds a new Feathers item among several other major pieces of new content.
How to get Feathers in Fortnite
Fortnite added Feathers to the game as the game’s newest item, but some players might be confused where to find them, let alone what they’re used for. Feathers are used to unlock a variety of masks for Haven, one of this season’s Battle Pass skins that was locked until the most recent update. Feathers can be found in chests anywhere on the island, meaning players will naturally accumulate them as they play more and more matches. FortniteFeathers serve as the currency for Haven’s Masks, but each mask has a side requirement that the player needs to be aware of.
How to get Haven’s Mask in Fortnite
Let Fortnite The player actually obtains Haven’s Mask, which not only requires a sufficient number of Feathers, but also completes a quest related to a specific mask type. For example, catching fish unlocks cat mask, foraging unlocks deer mask, windsurfing unlocks owl mask and more. There are dozens of masks to unlock, but the majority of mask missions are relatively simple, meaning players won’t necessarily spend hours sharpening. Haven’s Mask system has some similarities with Last season’s Battle Pass with Toona Fish.
Besides Feathers, FortniteUpdate 19.20 adds an improved Heavy Shotgun and a new POI Covert Cavern, home to the Mythic Stinger SMG. However, this week’s new content doesn’t stop there. The Fortnite Crew pack for February was revealed recently, which contained an enchanted skeleton known as Aftermath. Dressed in a colorful outfit and gold disco-ball-like skull, the character comes in a variety of styles: a more discreet masked and hooded style and one that shows off his shiny skull. The responsive flat back strap has to be proven universal, acting like a decibel meter when felt by the wearer.
While there’s unfortunately no key shortcut to unlocking all of Haven’s Masks, advanced players should have little problem unlocking the ones that appeal to them. However, collecting Feathers could become more complicated in the future, as a new leak shows that Giant tank is coming Fortnite.
