How to get Darkrai and Shaymin in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legend: Arceus transports players to a new yet familiar land as we travel back in time to the region of Hisui, an ancient version of the land that has become Sinnoh.

As you’d expect, a plethora of Pokémon from the Sinnoh region will be available to catch and capture, and these include some of its most iconic Legendary Pokémon. Arceus is this game’s focal point Pokémon, but you’ll be able to join other game favorites, like Darkrai and Shaymin, by completing certain in-game events. Here’s everything you need to know.

How to bring in Darkrai and Shaymin Pokémon Legend: Arceus

Both Shaymin and Darkrai will be available for players to grasp through research quests upon completion of the main story. Pokémon Legend: Arceus, But there is a downside.

To gain access to these research quests, you will need previously saved files Pokémon games on your Nintendo Switch device. Darkrai will be distributed to those who have Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining pearls on their device. Shaymin can be acquired by those who have Sword Pokémon or Shield.

Both of these research quests can be found in the Jublife Village once you’ve watched the end of the game. Along with these Pokémon, save files will also guarantee players the gift of in-game outfits available when they join the Galaxy Expeditionary Team. The Modern Team Galactic set is available for BDSP and the Shaymin Kimono set for Sword and Shield.

That’s not all. If you have a Pokémon Lets Go! Save the game you will earn yourself Pikachu and Eevee masks so make sure you get all the collectibles that apply to you while playing the game.
