How to get Baneful Fox Mask and Growlithe Kimono Set in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legend: Arceus just launched, and in the usual Pokémon Company fashion, there are a number of freebies available to those who purchase the game during the first few months of release.

The Baneful Fox Mask and the Growlithe Kimono Set are only available to those who purchased the game before May 9. After purchasing the game, you must first unlock the Mystery Gift function, which is only available after you complete it. Mission Five and defeat your opponent’s Pikachu in the game’s story.

To get to the Mystery Gift window, press the D-pad key and go to the wireless communication tab. The Mystery Gift option will be one of the options you can choose to receive your bonus items. The game doesn’t give any indication that you’ve unlocked the Mystery Gift function, so players can look for it on their own.

Time to get to Mission Five is after about two hours of play. Once the Mystery Gift function is unlocked, you will be able to obtain the Baneful Fox mask and the Growlithe Kimono Set. Players do not need a Nintendo Switch Online Membership, but an internet connection is required to receive rewards.

Players can also get 30 Heavy Balls as a pre-order or early purchase bonus, but these items are only available to players who have purchased the game in the Nintendo eShop. If you purchase a copy from the eShop, you will receive a code in exchange for 30 Heavy Balls in the game.

For those who have Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining pearls save on their Switch console, they’ll also be able to get Darkrai when the main campaign in Legend: Arceus completed.
