How to get Alexander’s shard in Elden Ring

How to get Alexander’s shard in Elden Ring

If you’ve explored the Stormhill area in Limgrave, you’ve certainly come across Iron Fist Alexander. He can be found around the Sainstbridge Site of Grace atop a cliff. You can hear his cry for help if you get close enough.

After helping him escape where he’s trapped, you’ll meet him at General Radahn’s festival at Redmane Castle. However, you can also see him again before the festival near the Geal Tunnel. The location of both places has been shown in the images below. Remember to talk to Alexander a few times before and after defeating Radahn.

Next time you’ll find Alexander on the south side of the Hall of Carian Studies in Liurnia of the Lakes. Help him out again with the Oil Pot. Then talk to him.

Alexander’s next stop was around Seethewater Terminus in Mount Gelmir. We have shown the link to this location in the instructions on how to get the Azur armor set. Talk to Alexander a few more times until you get the Jar helmet from him.

Now, only the last step remains, which is at the very end of the game by Crumble Farum Azula. You will reach this place after defeating all the campaign bosses in Mountaintops of the Giants. Before you can meet Alexander here, you should defeat a dragon. To reach the dragon, you must go through the wall of mist using the Stonesword key at the Dragon Temple Altar Site of Grace. After defeating the dragon, rest at the Site of Grace. and then go to the Dragon Temple Lift Site of Grace, highlighted in the image below. There you will find Alexnader.

Talk to Alexander one last time, and he’ll invite you to a fight. After defeating him, you will get the Shard of Alexander Talisman.
