How to find flint (& any Pokemon they evolve)

Flint is required to evolve Eevee, Vulpix, and Growlithe in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. This is where players can find them.

Evolution Stones have played an important role in Pokemon since the beginning and continues to do so in modern times Pokemon Game. Today, however, there are ten different stones instead of just five, with all but one of these appearing in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining pearls. The functionality has remained largely the same, although the way players actually find certain Evolution Stones has changed quite a bit over the years.

Unlike the first generation games, where the player simply purchased most of the Evolution Stones from the Department Store, Brilliant diamond & Shining pearls Ask the players to find the stones they need on the field. However, those hoping to get their hands on the Flint have a number of different options, as these iconic yellow and orange stones appear in a number of different locations throughout the game.

The best place to find Flint is inside Fuego Ironworks, an optional location can be found north of Floaroma Town using Surf to head west on Route 205. Inside, the player will be able to find Flint in the top right corner. of the facility and another can be obtained by telling Mr. Fuego in the center of the maze. Players will also be able to exchange colored shards for valuable Star Shards here, so it’s a good place to visit later a long mining session in the Grand Underground.

While on the topic of Grand Underground, the player can also find Flint there just by participating in the excavation mini-game. They’re not quite as common, but those hoping to be able to dig enough Mystery Shards to get their hands on it all legendary Pokemon available at Ramanas . Only three Pokemon evolve using Flint in Brilliant diamond & Shining pearls since the games only include Pokemon up to generation 4. Interestingly all three of them are Generation 1 Pokemon, although two of them are version specific. Brilliant diamond player will be able to find Growlithe down to the Grand Underground, while Shining pearls player will receive instead Vulpix. The last Pokemon that evolves using Flint is Eevee, which the player can get from Bebe in Hearthome City after unlocking the National Pokedex.
