The much-anticipated release of Pokemon Legends Arceus finally here and with it many Pokemon to catch and evolve to fill that Pokedex and a family of Pokemon included in the game are Magnemite, Magneton and Magnezone.
There are some Pokemon that seem to appear only once with no additional evolution, especially if they already have more than one.
Magnemite and Magneton were one of those things that we didn’t expect to get another evolution, but that changed then when Magnezone was introduced.

Who is Magnezone?
Magnemite was originally introduced back in Red and Blue Pokemon as a pure Electric Pokemon with its evolved Magneton. This changed at launch Gold and Silver Pokemon though both are retuned to Electric/Steel type with the addition of Steel move type.
This has made the Pokemon a lot stronger by adding the Steel knocking ability and the ability to use Steel moves, but it won’t be in two generations when it’s even stronger.
That leads us to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and Gen IV when some of the original 151 Pokemon received brand new evolutions, including Magneton.
This is the introduction of the new Electric/Steel type Magnezone which makes Pokemon a lot more competitive overall and is still a very strong Pokemon today in many games.
How to evolve Magneton into Magnezone
Magnezone can indeed be caught in the wild in Pokemon Legends Arceus, but we won’t get out easily. Instead, we will work on evolving Magneton into Magnezone.
To start you will need to get Magneton or get Magnemite and level up first to evolve into Magneton.
Once you have Magneton, you have two options to be able to evolve it into Magnezone. The first is to only use one Thunder Stone like in the past to evolve it, which will require you to find a Thunder Stone.
The other option is to wait until you reach the Coronet Plateau in the game. Once you’re here, fight your Magneton and level up once to trigger the evolution to Magnezone.
