How to download Minecraft 1.18.1 Sodium 1.17

Installing and downloading Sodium is a rather complicated process for Minecraft players. First you need to make sure you have a Fabric Feeder. To do that, you need to visit the Fabric Downloads page here and then install it. Make sure you use the correct version of the mapper and loader before installing.

Next, you need to make sure you’ve downloaded Sodium. You can easily get it from here. Go to Run menu, enter %appdata%. Minecraftmods and click Run. Paste the Sodium folder here. Once done, just start the Minecraft launcher and select Fabric to start using Minecraft with Sodium.

  • Smooth bio-blend for blocks and fluids, providing significantly improved graphics quality with significantly less computational cost.
  • Dynamic textures that are not visible in the world will not be updated, speeding up texture updates on most hardware (especially AMD cards).
