Every holiday Glaceon weak points in Pokemon GO
Similar to our previous raid guide for Druddagon, Holiday Glaceon is pretty easy to strategize based on the fact that it only has one tap, Ice.
Due to its Ice type, Holiday Glaceon is super weak to Fire, Steel, Battle, and Rock move types, giving you a huge variety to choose from. Also, it’s resistant to Ice-type moves, so you’ll want to completely avoid those.
How to Beat Holiday Glaceon – The Best Counter and Raid Guide
The Holiday Glaceon will be found in level 3 raids throughout the entire Pokemon Go Winter Holiday 2021 event that will last just over two weeks.
As a level 3 raid, Holiday Glaceon really shouldn’t cause you too much trouble as long as you’re prepared. In fact, you can actually take down Holiday Glaceon alone. However, having extra help is never a bad thing to have more handballs at the end of a raid.
As for the counters to use against the Holiday Glaceon, we’ll cover some good Pokemon picks and usable moves. We’ll stick to the standard forms of these Pokemon, but any of these in Mega form or you have a solid Shadow version will always be preferred.
Your top tier pick here will definitely be Charizard with Fire Spin and Blast Burn, but you can also choose Chandelure with Fire Spin and Overheat for pure Fire type moves.
You can also combine Pokemon like Magmortar with Karate Chop on the fast move and Fire Blast on the move, or Reshiram with Fire Fang on the fast move and Stone Edge as well as an attack.
Steel grades can also be quite effective, with Metagross being the top pick with Bullet Punch and Flash Cannon leading the way. You can also use Lucario with Bullet Punch, while Aura Sphere is a Fighting style charged attack.
You can also combine other Combat types like Machamp with Counter and Close Combat or a bunch of other standard Fire types with strict Fire moves that are also very effective.
By picking up some Pokemon like this you won’t have too much trouble and may have a chance to catch the Holiday Glaceon, which will be available in Shiny form during this event Pokemon GO.
