How to counter Dizzy in Epic Seven – FandomSpot

Dizzy no longer sees much use in competitive play, much like other heroes who rely on debuffs.

But she can still cripple an unprepared team as a last resort for the niche. And the best counters for Dizzy are those who can cleanse a wide range of debuffslike Mediator Kawerik.

However, there are many ways to counter Dizzy’s barrage of debuffs, so let’s go through some of the most optimal ways.

Method 1: Debuff Cleaner

Let’s start with Debuff Cleaners.

These are units with abilities capable of removing one or all of your party’s debuffs. These heroes come with various other utilities which we will now get into.

Special cleaners

Designer Lilibet / Epic Seven

Mediator Kawerik is the go-to cleaner in the current meta. Not only can he remove all of his own debuffs if their duration is one turn or less, but he can remove all party debuffs while granting immunity and increased attack.

Mediator Kawerik doesn’t offer much aside from his AOE clean, but this one ability is enough to catapult him into the highest ranks.

Designer Lilibet is another great hero for clearing debuffs that can also act as a solid damage dealer. Designer Lilibet is pushed forward based on the number of debuffs affecting your party.

She can also cleanse herself, give herself a defense buff, remove group debuffs, and push the team.

When equipped with Portrait of the Saviors, her damage is also not to be scoffed at.

Soul Weaver

Maid Chloe / Epic Seven

Effect Resistance based Soul Weavers are another solid option to mitigate Dizzy’s plethora of debuffs and pushbacks.

It’s recommended to invest in effect resistance, as stunning the Abyssal Crown can spell disaster for your team.

Also, if Dizzy chooses her third Soul Burn skill to get an extra turn, she will attempt to push your team back. Effect resistance is key to avoiding unnecessary headaches from Dizzy’s gear.

Selection units here would be:

  • Emilia
  • Maid Chloe
  • Elena
  • Desert Jewel Bazaar
  • beam
  • target

All of these units clear debuffs and provide the added benefit of constant heals and other buffs depending on the character.

Method 2: Champion Zerato

Champion Zerato / Epic Seven

Whenever debuffs are popular in the meta, you can bet people will start dusting off their champion, Zerato.

Champion Zerato has a kit designed to counter debuffs. Not only is he immune to various debuffs, including stun and sleep, but he will also attack whenever affected by one or more debuffs.

What makes Champion Zerato great is that he doesn’t just dissipate these debuffs after a counterattack – he transfers them to two enemies.

Champion Zerato is great for turning your opponent’s team composition against them.

Method 3: Earth Heroes (Purple)

Purple build screen / Epic Seven

One of Dizzy’s selling points is her ability to inflict debuffs, although she misses her third ability. This allows her to debuff earth heroes as well.

However, heroes like Violet are great, as he’ll likely dodge Dizzy’s subsequent pushback while he’s able to purify with his second ability.

After surviving Dizzy’s initial attack, Violet will have no problem taking her down (along with the rest of the enemy team).
