How to complete Diallos quest in Elden Ring after update 1.03

Faulty part of Diallos quest in Elden Ring fixed with the most recent update of the game and you can now complete the NPC quest by finding him at Jarburg.

Earlier today, FromSoftware rolled out a brand new update across all platforms that applies balance changes to weapons, spells, shields, and magic attacks, and fixes many bugs and added new content for some NPCs.

Hopefully Diallos is among the NPCs getting the new quest and now you can complete your quest without worrying about his eavesdropping disappearance.

How to complete the Diallos quest in Elden Ring

Let’s start right at the beginning. Diallos is one of the NPCs you first meet at the Roundtable. After talking to him a few times, you’ll find him in the Lirunian of the Lakes, standing next to his servant’s corpse just south of the entrance to Raya Lucaria, just before you reach the guards. He’s one of the many foundations in Academy Gate Town.

After talking to him about his servant, you’ll be able to meet him at the Roundtable Hold again. Talk to him a few times. Next stop is Volcano Manor. You should go to Mount Gelmir, find the Volcano Manor building, talk to Tanith and accept to join the Volcano Manor group. You will then receive keys to open several doors at Volcano Manor, including a room inside where you can find the Diallos.

Talk to him a few times, but his quest won’t progress until you’ve done all the quests you were given by Tanith at Volcano Manor. After completing the Volcano quest, you should be able to meet Diallos at Jarburg in Liurnia of the Lakes, but before that you should meet Jar-Bairn first. Talk to Jar-Bairn, then go and rest at the Place of Grace, then come back and talk to him again. Repeat this cycle until you find Diallos in Jarburg. (Jarburg is located just southeast of the Carian Study Hall in Liurnia of the Lakes.)

Talk to Diallos a few times and let the time pass. You can do that by taking a break and skipping time. After a while, when you return to Jarburg, you will notice that the village has been raided, while Diallos is wounded. Talk to Diallos and Jar-Bairn. Now, you should let the time pass. After a while, go back to Diallos’ location and you will find his dead body with all his weapons and equipment picked up by you.
