How to catch legendary beasts or birds
Iconic legendary birds from Kanto and legendary monsters from Johto return Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. With the new Ramanas Park replacing Pal’s Park Pokemon Diamond / Pearl / Platinum, the player can catch Legendary Pokemon that are not normally found in Sinnoh.
Like most Pokemon game, Legendary Birds and Legendary Monsters are exclusive Pokemon. People have Brilliant diamond can capture Legendary Beasts: Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. In Shining pearls, the player has a chance to get Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno instead. Acquiring these legendaries also requires a bit of work and it will take some time before trainers can catch them.
How to unlock Legendary Monsters/Birds
Before players can do anything in Ramanas Park, they’ll need to defeat the Elite Four and get the National Dex. After getting the National Dex, they will be informed about Ramanas Park. This is located in south of Sandgem . Town on Route 221. In Ramanas Park is the Discovery Room, where players can use Slate to spawn Legendary Pokemon.
Legendary Beasts/Birds will not be available until the player catches it Regirock, Register, and Sincerely. To do this, they need Talk to the reception in the Ramanas . Park lobby and buy one Discovery disc. One Plate costs 1 Mystery Piece (L) or 3 Mystery Shard (S) and needs to be purchased by the player 3 discs of discovery to get all three Regis.
When this is done, the player will have access to Kanto Slate (Shining pearls) or Johto Slate (Brilliant Diamond). Just like the Discovery Plates, the trainer will need to purchase 3 of each Slate lay egg all mythical beasts or birds depending on which version they are playing. This means they will need the total 3 Mystery Puzzle (L) or 9 Mysterious Puzzles (S). Use the Kanto/Johto Slate in the Discovery Room to gain access to the Kanto/Johto Room.
Unfortunately, The Mystery Piece can only be found in the Grand Underground and quite rare to boot. One method of farming Shards is to go into the Underground, mine the nearest wall, and exit. Re-enter and repeat the process. This will save the player from having to run around the Underground looking for walls to dig into.
Catch legendary beasts/birds
All 6 Pokemon will be level 70, same as Regis. Like Legendaries, they have an incredibly low catch rate. Bring along Pokemon that can withstand their attacks and cause status ailments. Some Legendaries are resistant to certain medical conditions. For example, Zapdos and Raikou cannot be paralyzed, Entei and Moltres cannot be burned, and Articuno cannot be frozen. However, they are all susceptible to Sleep sickness, so use Hypnotics or Sleeping Pills and change their health to Orange or Red. As with all dictionaries, avoid knocking them down.
Players can try to throw the Ball quickly at the start of the battle, but you should bring Ultra Balls and Timer Balls to these encounters. Net Ball, good for catching Water or Bug-type Pokemon, can be used on Suicune for those who have Brilliant diamond.
After catching three beasts/birds, the player will be able to get Ho-oh (Brilliant diamond) or Lugia (Shining pearls). Remember that because These programs are exclusive, they need to be ported to another version. Means if Shining pearls trainers want Entei, Raikou or Suicune, they will need to trade with someone who caught them in Brilliant diamond.
