Hololive EN Kimono New outfit revealed in feeds

Hololive held special relay events over the weekend from January 15 to 16 where Hololive EN Gen 2 members Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei and Hakos Baelz each revealed New kimono themed outfits.

Why do Hololive EN Gen 2 members all have new kimonos?

The tradition in Japan is to go to the shrines on the first days after the new year, most especially wearing a kimono. Although many Japanese no longer do it every year. At least speaking from what some of my friends have said.

This tradition, Hatsumode, is why many social games/gacha games have New Years Events with characters wearing kimonos. And Hololive is now doing the same thing because they decided it was the perfect opportunity to reveal the new kimono to all members of the Council.

Tsukumo Sana new kimono outfit

Tsukumo Sana’s kimono was designed in a space theme to match her lore, and was also designed by pako. An alternative illustration was shared on Twitter. You can find the outfit reveal stream below.

Ceres Fauna’s New Kimono Outfit

Ceres Fauna’s outfit has Taisho Roman feel it. Asagi Tohsaka also shared this illustration on Twitter. There is a version without an apron.

Ouro Kronii’s New Kimono Outfit

Wada ArcoHer designs are always amazing and the same can be said for her clothing designs. Don’t forget one Fate / Extra redo is also being developed with her works.

Hakos Baelz’s new kimono

Here’s an incredible outfit and another recognizable design from Mika Pikazo. Her work is always great. She also mentioned on Twitter woke up very early, pretty much at midnight JST so she could watch the reveal streams. A real goat.

Hololive English Gen 2 Kimono Pictionary Collaboration Stream
