Harry Potter RPG, Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed into 2022, as a way to give “the sport the time it wants”.

In a press release on Twitter, a spokesperson defined: “We wish to thank followers from all over the world on the super response to the announcement of Hogwarts Legacy from our Portkey Video games label. Creating the very best expertise for all the Wizarding World and gaming followers is paramount to us so we’re giving the sport the time it wants. Hogwarts Legacy will likely be launched in 2022.”

The open world action-RPG set on the planet of Harry Potter in the course of the late 1800s was introduced at last year’s September PS5 event, with a reveal trailer ending on a 2021 release window.

That teaser confirmed off customized characters within the Hogwarts environs, teasing magic classes, Quidditch, potion brewing, the Sorting Hat ceremony and extra.
