Hitman Trilogy to get VR support on PC next week

Virtual reality is everywhere right now, and with so many critically acclaimed games featuring VR ports, it’s certain that Hitman will be next.

It’s strange to think that virtual reality games have gone from being a gimmicky idea that’s hard to catch, to being the next step in creating RPG titles. Last year alone saw the launch of some incredible VR portals, As if Resident Evil 4, and Hitman 3. As for the latter, the stealth franchise reboot has seen it go from strength to strength, and it looks like virtual reality technology will soon be available for all three newer installments.

According to a recent report from VGC, the reboot trio of Killer, 2016-present, will get VR support on PC next week. Those with the first two games will be able to enter the levels into the latest release, so they can play all three games in virtual reality. As it stands, there’s no official statement on which specific devices will be compatible, but IO Interactive says it will provide support for “most popular” hardware, names like Oculus and HTC Vice have. may be compatible, but that is speculation at this stage.
