Regional forms have become a staple of the Pokemon universe and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will introduce its own set of fresh forms for existing Pokémon. one Pokemon Fan decided to make a video showing the recently revealed ones Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Version of Wooper with a press conference about his looks and typing.

The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have confirmed Wooper as the first Paldean form Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, leading many to speculate as to which existing Pokemon will be revamped in upcoming titles. Reddit user Dracola112 posted a letter Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Yesterday’s video shows the new regional form for Wooper, which is brown instead of the Gen 2 Pokémon’s usual aquatic blue color. Dracola112 Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The clip shows a Wooper sitting at a press conference table like an athlete after a big signature or an impressive win, and the Pokémon answers questions about how such an athlete can do it. The first question for Wooper suggests that the changes made to the Pokemon’s design aren’t enough to justify the Paldean form, to which the animated Wooper cites its spelling, objects sticking out of its head, and mud-covered body as reason enough a fresh debut. The less powerful Poison-type Pokémon is brought to Wooper next, with the press member implying that Poison is less powerful than Wooper’s Ground and Water-type counterpart, and Wooper conceding that it might be outclassed.

Wooper changes the subject from the Pokemon input and quickly returns to talk about the “Goop and Slime” covering his body before answering the next press conference question in Dracola112’s video. The final question prompts Wooper to storm out of the press conference, with Scyther acting as a trainer after someone asked the Gen 2 Pokemon to try stepping out of Mudkip’s Shadow, a Ground- and Water-type Pokemon with an even larger following . Scyther waves off the press in the final moments by saying that the show is over and more questions should be reserved for the future when the two Pokémon leave the scene.

Interested in his typing changes, several Pokemon Fans have expressed their delight at Paldean Wooper in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet compared to its Gen 2 counterpart, noting that it’s great to use against Fairy-type Pokémon.
