Here’s Why Fans Are Unhappy With Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation

After a long wait, Netflix has finally released Kevin Smith’s Masters of The Universe: Revelation Part 1. The new show serves as a direct sequel to the 1983 series Filmation He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Season 1 of the show consists of five episodes and starts right where its predecessor series left off. The show also introduced an incredible cast, including Chris Wood (He-Man), Mark Hamill (Skeletor), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Teela) and Liam Cunningham (Man-At-Arms).

So you can understand why millions He man fans have been looking forward to the release of Masters of The Universe: Revelation.

Well, Season 1 is finally available to watch on Netflix; However, most fans didn’t get what they expected from the show.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation on Netflix: Why are fans angry?

Masters of The Universe: Revelation features several characters from the original series. In the show, Orko, Cringer, Man-At-Arms, and He man against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn and Beast-Man.

Apparently, the show starts with Skeletor trying to destroy Castle Grayskull. He wanted to use the power of the castle for himself, but of course, He man standing against him. Interestingly, the battle between the two ends with their deaths in the first episode.

Then we move forward a few years in the story and the show focuses on other characters. Thanks to the intense battle between He man and Skeletor, there’s a big crack in Eternia. And when magic is leaked, the entire Universe is at stake. So Teela, a Scavenger, tries to save the planet by going on a quest to find the Power of the Sword.

Of course, the show’s premise is certainly interesting; however, fans are disappointed that we can barely see He man. Prince Adam only appears in the first episode, and after he dies we see him in some flashbacks. Then fans hope after he comes back to life, but he dies again.

inside Masters of the Universe: Revelation trailer, we can see very clearly He man appeared as the main character. However, fans think that “He man” used only as a marketing tool; The trailer mainly uses footage from the first episode.

Obviously, we can see Prince Adam played a big role in Season 2; However, Season 1 doesn’t deliver the Nostalgia value that fans expect.
