Here’s Everything we Know About The Live-Action Series!

Fans are excited about the news that the popular manga ‘Komi Can’t Communicate’ will be adapted into a live-action. What do we know about it so far?

The manga was first released in May 2016 and was well received by thousands of readers, now it has reached 8.28 on the list. My Anime List. It was so popular that NHK announced on July 23, 2021 which they will select for a live-action adaptation.

Not only will the series get a real-life version, but animation studio OLM (Oriental Light and Magic) has revealed an anime series under their production that will be released later this year.

Komi can’t communicate: Release date for Live-Action series

.’s live-action series Komi can’t communicate slated to release at 10:45 PM JST on September 6, 2021, via NHK General TV. For international fans, it’s possible the series will be picked up by Netflix, depending on how active it is.

Komi can’t communicate will consist of 8 episodes and is directed by Yoshihito Okashita and Eiji Ishi. The series’ producer is Hiroyuki Onuma, with Fumie Mizuhashi as the screenwriter.

The drama will feature music by Eishi Segawa, who also worked on ‘Murasaki’ (2011) and ‘Flying Colors’ (2015) as a composer.

Cast and plot for the Live-Action . series

Cast for Komi can’t communicate there are only two main roles and as follows:

• Elaiza Ikeda as Shoko Komi.
• Takahisa Masuda (From J-pop band ‘NEWS’) as Hitohito Tadano.

The premise of the live-action series will be inspired by the manga series, though whether the chapters will be closely followed remains to be seen. The story is about a young man named Tadano who is shy by nature and keeps to himself even though one day he is alone in a classroom with another student named Komi, who has a very aloof personality and is very shy. famous for the way she carries herself.

When he got to know her, he realized this wasn’t her true personality and that she was just awkward and so he took it upon himself to find a way to help her socialize and make friends.

What we know about the upcoming animated series

Anime series by Komi can’t communicate will release in October on Japan’s TV Tokyo network. The adaptation has been highly requested and has been ranked firstt in a 2020 AnimeJapan poll asking fans about their “Most Wanted Anime Adaptation”.

News about anime adaptation is exit on May 11, 2021 with a live-action adaptation set to premiere just two months later. The anime’s cast will feature Aoi Koga as Shoko Komi, Gakuto Kajiwara as Hitohito Tadano, and Rie Murakawa as Najimi Osana.

The anime is written by Deko Akao and has Ayumu Watanabe as the main director and Kazuki Kawagoe as the supporting director. It is also inspired by the manga and it is yet to be confirmed whether it will directly incorporate the chapters into the plot. Fans can watch the teaser this. The series will likely be shown on Crunchyroll or Funimation when it’s released.
