Here’s everything new coming to Netflix in December 2021 – and what’s left

Netflix Inc. there’s a ridiculous amount of original content coming out in December, including new installments of some of the studio’s most popular series, Oscar-winning films and a host of holiday specials.

Fantasy epics “The Witcher” (December 17) returns for a second season, as monster hunter Geralt (Henry Cavill) encounters elves, witches, and royalty in his adventures; “Money Thief” (December 5) ends with the second half of Season 5, as the Professor and his increasingly exhausted crew attempt to escape the besieged Bank of Spain with their stolen gold; “Emily in Paris” (December 22) returns for Season 2, promising more fun, fashion, and spoof as the all-American Emily (Lily Collins) tries to find her place in Paris; “The Eye of the Viewer” (December 31) is back for its sixth season, making sensational conversions in Texas around this time; and Part 4 of “Cobra Kai” (December 31) sees Daniel (Ralph Maccio) and Johnny (William Zabka) join forces to win the all-important Under-18 Karate Tournament.

In terms of movies, Netflix

have a serious Oscar couple in “The Power of the Dog” (December 1), a family film directed by Jane Campion and starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jesse Plemons as brothers who run a farm in 1920s Montana; and “Don’t look up” (December 24), Adam McKay’s sci-fi comedy (Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, Meryl Streep, and more) about astronomers who discover an asteroid about to crash Earth.

And there are many seasonal services, like “Single all the way” (December 2), a romantic holiday comedy starring Michael Urie, Philemon Chambers and Luke MacFarlane; the fourth part of “Great British Baking Show: Holidays” (December 3); and family fare such as “Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas” (December 3rd) and “David and the Elves” (December 4th).
