Hearthstone’s Fractured In Alterac Expansion Officially Coming to Warcraft CCG

Hearthstone and World of Warcraft come together like Broken in the official Alterac expansion that debuted in the online collectible card game Warcraft. The latest expansion introduces Alterac Valley-themed content, including faction gameplay that will require the player to choose a faction and join forces with an Alliance or Horde.

“Log in now to choose a faction you will fight in the Alterac Valley! When you select a faction, you will instantly receive a Gold copy of that faction’s Legendary leader card! Battle for honor throughout the Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion and you can earn your faction ranks and prizes, including a Gold copy of the enemy leader’s card! ”

The expansion also introduces 135 new cards, the new Honorable Kill keyword, the return of Hero Cards, and a new spell card called Target. NS Reward tracking has also been refreshed with a whole new set of unlockable features for both the free track and the Tavern Pass track.

“Reward tracking for Fractured in Alterac Valley will include bundles from Fractured in Alterac Valley, Standard pack, Tavern Tickets, one random Epic card, two random Legendary cards, one Vanessa VanCleef Mercenary Card, Horde and Alliance Card Backs , and lots of Gold. There are also 14 non-craftable Gold cards, including Legendary minions, Lokholar, Ice Lord. To complete the track, you will be given one of 10 Return Hero Skins. “

To mark the expansion’s release, Blizzard will be giving players a chance to earn rewards and win the ultimate victory for their chosen faction in the Battle for Alterac Valley event. Throughout the expansion, players will be able to earn Honor by playing and winning matches in Ranked, Arena, and Duel. Players will be rewarded with expansion cards when they reach certain Honor milestones starting from 40 Honor points all the way up to 7200. Each player will also receive a Diamond copy of the winning faction’s leader card ( Vanndar or Drek’Thar) in future updates.
