‘Hawkeye’ Fans Get Emotional With Clint .’s Black Widow Reference

Marvel fans everywhere must be in awe of their favorite super snake/spy, Scarlett Johannson’s Natasha Romanoff, in a flash of emotional tribute from Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton in the latest episode of Disney Plus series Hawk Eye.

In case you’ve lived in a cave for the past few years, Natasha AKA Black Widow, sacrificed herself in Avengers: Endgame on the planet Vormir, overseen by Hugo Weaving’s Red Skull, so that Clint can bring the Soul Stone home and reverse Thanos’ snap. This move eventually resulted in the entire Clint family – who were wiped out by Thanos – back into the world of the living.

Before the Avengers could save the day, however, Clint had gone mad with bloodlust, dodging his Hawkeye heroic personality for the dark vengeful Ronin, a vigilante fit for a ninja. escorted the Yakuza members in an attempt to fill the empty hole he left. – the family itself.

But Black Widow rushed in to save Clint from his ways of revenge, bringing him back from the brink and recruiting him back to the Avengers to help save the universe.

In the new program Hawk Eye, the third volume makes a subtle but uncomfortable nod to this arch from Endgame making many fans weak knees.

The show partially revolves around people trying to figure out Ronin’s still-unknown identity after the vigilante seems to reappear. In a back-and-forth between himself and Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez AKA Echo, Clint explains that the Black Widow killed the vigilante and that Ronin’s revival was just a rumor.

This touched many fans as it rekindled the strong friendship that Clint and Natasha shared.
