Harry ‘Can’t Face His Family’ And Won’t Return Over The Holidays, Royal Biographer Tom Bower Claims

Prince Harry and his family’s attendance at this year Celebrating Platinum Jubilee in London was questioned, as he has said he does not feel safe returning to the UK without police protection, which the British state has refused to offer as a matter of course. .

Now, authoritative royal biographer Tom Bower, who is working on Meghan Markle’s biography, has said he believes Harry are using security issues as an “excuse” not to return home.

Bower said to Closer magazine he believes the real reason Harry doesn’t want to see his family is because of his bombshell memoir, which will be published just months after a special four-day national holiday in June.

Bower said to Closer: “I think the notion that he’s worried about his own security and needs the Met Police is an excuse, and sadly we won’t see him or Meghan back in the UK any time soon. And I think Harry won’t come back because he knows he can’t face his family, and is comfortable with them, knowing what he wrote about them in that book. ”

Bower does not claim to be speaking on a briefing basis, but he is an extremely respected writer. Most recently, he authored a horrifying book about Prince Charles, Rebel Princewhich revealed that Charles once arranged his own bed to move into a friend’s house when he moved in.

“That book is going to have a lot of casualties and a lot of damage,” Bower added. It would really work, as Harry knew it had to, to justify the money he was paid to do it.

“How can Harry go back and pretend everything is okay? The worst he will say is yet to come. ”

Harry is said to have been paid $20 million for the memoir, which is slated to hit stores this fall. Harry said, when the deal was announced, that it would be “completely honest” and “written like the man I became.”

Many expected that the book would tell the inside story of the fall of Diana and Charles’ relationship, and Harry’s impression of his father’s love affair with Camilla. There has been speculation that there may be particular disinterest in his father, with whom Harry has had a strained relationship since leaving the royal family. Harry told Oprah Winfrey that after his family cut their finances, his father stopped taking his phone calls because of a spell.

Harry has made a couple of short trips home but has yet to bring his family back to the UK, meaning the queen, who turns 96 next month, has never met her amazing niece Lilibet mine.

Harry has said he wants to bring his family to the UK but is unable to do so safely as he has been stripped of senior police protection.

Bower said to CloserThe next few months will be the final test for Harry, the ultimate dilemma. He insists he adores his grandmother, so will he come back to support her in Prince Philip’s memorial, and will he come back to support her and celebrate her reign in the Platinum Jubilee? These are important moments and sadly, time is running out.

“If he doesn’t come back, it’s a clear statement of allegiance and where his interests lie. He has plenty of opportunities to come home and spend time with his family — and he doesn’t — but this will really show where his and Meghan’s thoughts are. And if they don’t get back soon, Lilibet doesn’t see the queen and Harry doesn’t celebrate his life and reign with her, it might be something he’ll regret forever. ”
