List of Halo’s Infinite Bullet Damage Types
Each weapon in Halo Infinite belongs to a specific ammo type. They can be thought of as elements in an RPG. Each of them is strong against a particular type of target and weak against a different type of target. The exception to this is Power Weapons that take one of the other four types of damage and use that ammo.
Halo Infinite Kinetic Ammo Weapons
- Strong Resistance: Unarmored / Light Armored Targets
- Weak against: Shield
Kinetic Ammo is very good against enemies without shields. That means a common strategy among many players is to keep a Kinetic Weapon in one slot and a shield in the other.

- BR75 (Battle Rifle)
- CQS48 Bulldog
- Hydra
- Mangler
- MA40 AR (Assault Rifle)
- M50 Sidekick
- VK78 Commando

- Weak against: Armor

- Kim
- Plasma Pistol
- Pulse Carbine
- Ravager
- Stalker Rifles

Hardlight Weapon Ammo
- Strong Resistance: All
- Weak against: Massive Enemies
