Halo Infinite’s first free event gives players a first look at parallel worlds

Today, 343 Industries has launched Halo InfiniteThe first free event, titled Fracture: Tenrai. This event features a samurai-inspired Yoroi armor core as well as other similarly-themed items as part of the 30-tier Event card. It also starts a limited-time playlist and event challenges.
Fractured: Tenrai won’t happen overnight. Instead, it will have six appearances throughout Season 1, with the second coming in January. This is the first of many Fracture stories, providing players with a look at how the world of Halo has differed from what they knew in parallel worlds. Each world will have its own unique flavor – such as the samurai theme in Tenrai – but will maintain the Halo background we’re all familiar with.
In Tenrai Fracture, the lords of different clans that frequently attack each other have united to stop the Covenant barbarians and their glass dragons. As part of this alliance, the Imperial Court shared the secret to creating special armor and weapons blessed by the gods.
As noted, the event is 100% free and players can earn some nifty rewards. Since this happened many times in Season 1, it won’t last long. In fact, it’s only available for a week, until November 30, but don’t worry if you don’t get everything done during this time, as you’ll have five more chances to get it done.
