343 Industries has announced that they will regulate Halo InfiniteOvercome battles and challenges to make progression more interesting.
After some excitement at Halo Infinite’s surprise multiplayer launch is over, players are starting to realize that progress through battle is slow, taking hours of gameplay to level up just once.
Thankfully, 343 Industries has seen the frustration of the fan base and is working to fix the problem. In one Twitter thread, Halo’s Community Manager, John Junyszek, explained that they “will be making targeted adjustments to our model later this week”.
These targeted tweaks include introducing a “Play 1 Game”-only challenge, which will allow players to progress in battle much more easily. In addition, 343 Industries will also “tune, fix, and remove some of the Weekly Challenges based on your feedback.”
Double XP available for purchase in Halo InfiniteThe multiplayer will also be upgraded, with the duration doubled from just 30 minutes to now a full hour.
Junyszek went on to say that “we will be closely monitoring these changes to make sure they have the positive impact we all want on your progress”, so if these changes don’t totally gives the desired effect, we hope to see another fix in the future.
