Halo Infinite video shows how much stronger Master Chief’s armor is
Master Chief has always had story armor, but a clip from Halo Infinite shows just how much the armor’s true power has grown over the years.
HaloMaster Chief has always been considered an incredibly powerful force in many of the franchise’s games. Halo Infinite makes no difference, with 343 going to try to make sure players know Master Chief can also win a fight on his own. An interesting question worth asking is whether the Master Chief of Halo Infinite relatively strong compared to the years of the Master Chief of Bungie, or even the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Clip comparing the first and the newest Halo Games in the franchise raise that question.
Spotlight video takes clips from both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo Infinite, which provides a humorous but also quite entertaining comparison of Master Chief’s relative strength in games. Or more specifically a comparison of Master Chief’s armor and shield strength between the two games. Both clips feature Master Chief capturing all of the light from the Forerunner Monitor.
The first explosion came from Halo: Combat Evolve343 Guilty Spark, who turned on Master Chief after learning his goal was to destroy the Halo installation. Example taken from Halo Infinite features Forerunner’s Side-Screen Adjustment Solution, which attacks Master Chief due to Setup 7’s plan to disable Spiers. Resolve assist seems to use an attack identical to Master Chief as Guilty Spark did. do, only his light laser is all but ineffective against the Chief hit by Guilty Spark’s attack.
The responses to the online video were mostly humorous and considered it an interesting comparison and not too serious. For example, a fan says if the game is on Legendary difficulty, Master Chief must have evaporated. Another gave a simple, one-word answer: “Nanobots.”
A surprising number Halo However, fans accept the comparison and use their knowledge of the lore to come up with a plausible explanation for the difference in power. The most common answer is Halo: Combat EvolvedMaster Chief is wearing Mjolnir Mark V, created before humanity interacted with its Predecessors in any way. In Halo Infinite, Master Chief is wearing the GEN 3 armor, created after humanity became healthy with weapons of light. Others note that in Halo Infinite, the player can also strengthen his shield with Spartan technology.
Without a doubt, Master Chief has gone through many impossible missions over the years. And there’s no question that fans want to see it Masterchef up to bigger challenges, instead of being put down by something he ran into years ago. With these clips, 343 is likely to say that Master Chief won’t let his guard down anymore. He has more important things to focus on.
