Halo Infinite Fans Suggest Infected Armor Cores Based On Flood
A Halo Infinite fan comes up with an idea for a game that introduces a new kind of spartan core directly inspired by the flood.
Halo Infinite bring players back Halo franchise with a new story, new characters and new enemies for players to fight. The game also introduces some new game mechanics for players to experience, such as Master Chief’s new grappling hook.
Halo Infinite introduces several other new things to the game, such as the Spartan Cores collected that are used to upgrade the Master Chief’s abilities in the game. Players explore different Spartan cores across the world of Zeta Halo, which can unlock new features for the player to use in the game. As a result, many players have speculated on what other types of Spartan Core could be added to the game after its release.
A player showcased their concept of the newly added Spartan Core to the game, called the Infected Armor Core. This Spartan Core is directly inspired by flood from Halo, a group of toxic alien organisms that have a great influence on Halo Franchising. Users aren’t saying this will happen, they’re just pitching it as a potentially interesting idea for the game.
The user provided several abilities for the Infected Armor Core, suggesting that it could appear as part of an event, be it a seasonal or limited time event. They also suggested that Infected Armor Core could be released as a campaign DLC for Halo Infinite appear as post-launch content. Or more specifically, users say that the Infected Armor Core could be released in the game as part of a Halloween themed event.
