Halo Infinite There’s an extensive list of weapons for players to battle with, but some are better than others. So we’ve put together a list of multiplayer weapon tiers in Halo Infinite, so players can know which guns are worth owning and which ones should be left alone.
Halo’s Infinite Weapon Level List
We did spent some time with Halo Infinite and have picked out guns that we think are top-notch and could use some work. All guns can be effectively used by the right player, and there’s really only one or two stink guns on the original weapon list. Fortunately, they are all unlocked from the beginning of the game and are not part of the overcome the battle. However, some are definitely better than others. Also, we’re still testing some weapons and will add them to the tier list when we have more time to use them.
- S-rank weapons: Cindershot, M41 SPNKR Rocket Launcher, Skewer
- Grade A Weapons: BR75 Battle Rifle, Gravity Hammer, Heatwave, S7 Sniper
- B-class weapons: Energy Sword, Hydra, MA40 Assault Rifle, MK50 Sidekick, Needler, Plasma Pistol, Pulse Rifle, VK78 Commando
- C-class weapons: CQS48 Bulldog, Disruptor
- F-class weapons: Mangler
- Missile Launcher M41 SPNKr
These are the weapons that the player should sprint whenever they see them. These are game changers and take down enemy infantry and vehicles with a single hit.
This grenade launcher deals significant splash damage and can be controlled midway (like a TOW rocket) by zooming. .
Missile Launcher M41 SPNKr
The rocket launch needs no introduction. This bad boy can attack an infantry, dealing splash damage and is also excellent against vehicles. Its biggest drawback is that missiles move slower than projectiles, so making long-range shots against moving targets takes some skill.
This new weapon is essentially a large javelin that can shoot an infantry bullet at any range. Bullets are much faster than rockets, so it’s a great sniper rifle. Skewer also works great against vehicles, but it can only hold one round at a time, which can put players in a tough spot if they’re not careful.

These weapons are very effective with few flaws.
BR75 . Combat Rifle
This beloved series returns in Halo Infinite and is as useful and powerful as ever. The three-round bounce makes it accurate and easy to hit on target, but it still has a kick that makes it difficult to use at longer ranges.
This melee weapon is excellent if the player can get close enough to use it. Its attack has a small splash effect, and it’s a guaranteed hit if the player is hit with it.
Heatwave doesn’t seem great the first time a player picks it up because its standard fire mode fires six energy spheres horizontally across. However, tapping the zoom button will adjust the sample to a tighter vertical spread, roughly the size of a human. In this sub-mode, 2-3 shots will kill if the player is hit by all six projectiles.
The S7 Sniper is a two-shot killer of practically any range. Functionally, it resembles the sniper rifle from the first aura. It has a 4x-8x lens and a four-ring magazine. It kicks at medium and long range, but its low ammo capacity makes it impossible for most players to fight at short range.

These weapons are extremely useful, but can have a downside or two.
Another iconic Halo weapon that is back is the Energy Sword. Unfortunately, the lunge isn’t what it used to be, so the sword is an extremely close-range weapon. It was a finishing blow for players who could get close enough, but were easy to mess with and get killed.
This micro rocket launcher deals good damage and is lockable with the zoom function. However, its magazine must be reloaded one by one, which can be difficult for the player. It also has a relatively low rate of fire, which can be frustrating when using multiple targets.
MA40 Assault Rifle
The latest version of the assault rifle brings it closer to its original version. The rate of fire is closer to the MA5B from Halo: Combat Evolved, making it much more deadly at close range. However, the trade-off for the increased rate of fire is higher recoil and lower accuracy. The key to fighting this weapon at medium range is continuous fire.
Halo Infinite’s pistol is a lot closer to Halo 2’s M6C Magnum than the original M6D. Its greatest asset is accuracy, but it doesn’t do enough damage to be a great primary weapon. However, it’s really only secondary if the player runs out of ammo or is using an energy weapon as the primary weapon.
Needler still has needles, and sticking someone with enough of them will still cause an explosion. A simple to use, effective weapon.
A charged Plasma Pistol will knock down enemy shields with a single shot. However, its poor physical damage only shines when paired with a good sub.
At first glance, most players will think this weapon is not so cool. It fires three rounds of plasma from the house at a single target, but it doesn’t deal much damage. However, what prevents it from entering C-Class territory is that firing two explosions will lower the enemy’s shield low enough that a single melee attack can kill them. This makes it a great weapon for those looking to get up close.
When playing with VK78, the gun continuously feels better. It definitely has a strong enough shot effect and strong recoil. However, it is not great compared to Battle Rifle. It can use increased damage or reduced recoil, but it’s just a fine gun until then.
Weapons of rank C
These weapons are still useful, but only in certain situations.
The shotgun has been loved by players in previous games, but this new version isn’t great. The CQS48 is a shotgun that uses a drum, which minimizes long reload times. However, it doesn’t do much damage unless the player is uncomfortably close and the dispersion is too heavy. It’s not powerful enough for enjoyable use.
This pistol can disable vehicles or drain shields, but it’s not the best of those. It deals so little physical damage that it almost wastes a weapon slot. However, in the right circumstances, it can be helpful.
F class weapon
Most players should avoid these weapons.
Mangler was horrible. Its spikes deal a fair amount of damage, but its rate of fire is so slow that you’re better off using most other weapons in the game. It’s not great and we hate using it.
