PC version of Halo Infinite There is currently an epidemic of fraud, by the developer’s own admission 343 Industries. Halo Infinite’s additional anti-cheat measures are currently in development and will be available through a future free update, patch, or hotfix. Until then, 343 Industries is actively banning cheaters and hackers and encouraging users to report “bad guys” through Halo support website.

It’s not yet clear in what form the new anti-cheat measures will be implemented, although Staten has clarified the team’s commitment to fighting cheaters. According to the developer, “banhammer is unlimited and ready to go” right now. At this point, players will need to actively participate in this process by reporting cheaters. In the future, it is hoped that a better Halo Infinite anti-cheat system will save users the trouble of not allowing the practice in the first place.

Cheating and hacking is nothing new to online multiplayer games and especially first-person shooters. Halo community manager John Junyszek admits that “cheating is a natural part of supporting an F2P PC game” at this stage. While that’s been an issue that lingers, such as the Call of Duty series, 343 seems to want to get this resolved soon.

Unfortunately, there’s no Halo Infinite anti-cheat release date right now. However, with a solution currently in development, it won’t be too long before launch.
