Nearly all conversations revolve around Halo Infinite MultiplayerThe first few weeks aren’t about the game itself (it’s fun!) but about how fast the game progresses through battle. 343 Industries responded to feedback a few weeks ago by going on a quest that gives 50 XP for every battle played and now we’d like to introduce a patch that will speed progression even more.

Community Manager John Junyszek post on twitter to outline the changes, will see 300 XP given for the first game played each day, 200 XP for the second and third, 100 XP for the fourth, fifth and sixth, and 50 XP for each fight later. According to Junyszek, these changes “will help settle those initial payments slower while also benefiting the people you jump in every day.”

The update will be released tomorrow morning, December 1. Junyszek says the team is “committed to doing so.” [making larger changes to progression], but those will take time. “In fact, it looks like these changes, while welcome, are only a short-term fix and a larger overhaul to the progressive system could be imminent.

Junyszek also talk about cheating, which he says is “a natural part of supporting an F2P PC game, and that’s what we were anticipating.” While he didn’t go into the details understandably, he did say that 343 Industries is constantly working on improving its system and punishing the bad guys, and he directs players to it. the reporting section of the Halo website, as Halo Infinite has no in-game reporting method.

And, if you’re still waiting for the release of the “real” game on December 8, 343 Industries has a new campaign trailer for you to enjoy:
