The latest three Disney+ episodes enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hawk Eye, has been released so far and initial response has been overwhelmingly positive. As of this writing, the show has a critic score of 92% on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Hawk Eye clearly didn’t make the same impression on the MCU actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who played Pepper Potts for the first time Iron Man 2008 to 2019 Avengers: Endgame. For her part, the Oscar-winning actress is completely unfamiliar.

Paltrow is answering fan questions about her Instagram recent story when she was asked about her thoughts on the new movie, which features her MCU mate Jeremy Renner as the popular hero and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop.

Her reaction might just be poor Tony Stark rolling around in his grave.

“Nothing is?” Paltrow wrote.

Given her more than decade-long involvement with the MCU, one could assume Paltrow is playing a prank on her fans here. Alas, this is on par with the course that the 49-year-old actress is interested in.

While asking above Iron Man coach Jon Favreau’s The Chef Show in 2019, Paltrow famously argued that she had never appeared in a Spider-Man film, as Entertainment Tonight continued. Of course, she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming two years ago.

Later that year, Paltrow said this about the MCU in an interview with Elle:

“I never read the content,” she said. “But it’s confusing because there are so many Marvel movies, and to be honest, I haven’t seen many of them. That’s really stupid and I’m sorry, but I’m a 47-year-old mom.”

Just like Pepper, Paltrow is truly one of a kind.
