Guild Wars 2 plans to make a permanent public version of Twisted Marionette after some tweaks

If you are following the buzz community in Guild Wars 2, you might notice a name on the lips of many players: Twisted Marionette, which readers will recall as temporarily returned in a week. It turns out that this particular war is a serious challenge for most public groups, meaning that efforts to achieve global-level achievement goals was not good. This caused a lot of discussion about the encounter, with players begging for the return of public version of the fight or praise team-only version like a good thing.
This leads us to a developer post in the forum, which notes that players are slowly learning the mechanics of Marionette’s encounter and completing the fight at nearly twice the rate of a week ago. While the public version of the war is actually offline as originally planned, there will be a change to the fight that only starts timed events after the minimum number of players is available in that version, which means the public version will actually come to the back end. The squad mode of the fight will also get a change, starting only when the team leader confirms that the team is ready for the match. The public fight will return at the end of the summer.
“When we started planning to add Twisted Marionette back to the game, we were concerned that the difficulty and number of players required for the encounter would make it difficult to continue filming the event. After looking at the data we mentioned above, we feel a lot better about it,” reads the post.
This notice seems to have been almost praised by players, with many people appreciating how ArenaNet waits to collect data and see how players react to the fight before making adjustments. All told, players still seem to be able to expect a tough fight, with just minor tweaks for better coordination.
