Guild Wars 2 Elite specs will get big balance changes in next week’s final beta
ArenaNet has collected a lot of player feedback about the new one Guild Wars 2 elite expertise during previous End of Dragons beta testing. Over the past few weeks, players have been able to test the new elite specs in batches and have been instrumental in shaping each of those specs.
Fourth and final beta test next week will give players access to all nine new elite specs for testing, including a long list of changes based on community feedback, from minor tweaks to larger tweaks to portability, difficulty, skills and even visual updates.
For example, Catalyst’s Orb will no longer drain when out of combat while Mechanic and Untamed will be updated with more intuitive pet controls. Willbender and Catalyst will also have their mobility enhanced at the request of the community. Combat and controls have been streamlined for Bladesworn, Harbinger, and Vindicator while Virtuoso will generally get a buff.
The final beta will also include other End of Dragons content for testing, such as the new Siege Turtle mount for two players. Elite spec update notes are now on Guild Wars 2 Official Website to prepare for the start of testing on November 30NS.
