Guatemala’s Fuego volcano on Friday has quieted after a 32-hour lengthy eruption, authorities stated Friday.
The volcano, positioned some 35 kilometers (22 miles) southwest of the capital Guatemala Metropolis, started spewing lava and ash excessive into the sky on Thursday.
No damages or accidents have been reported and Emilio Barrillas, spokesman for Nationwide Volcanology Institute, informed journalists that ash eruptions eased and lava emissions stopped on Friday.
