GTA online players find Loch Ness monster in diamond casino parking

It’s not a secret Grand Theft Auto Online, like other Rockstar Games, is full of secrets and quirks for players to uncover. From Bigfoot to UFOs, mythical creatures, aliens and strange objects have appeared in the game.
A player was recently confused when they rolled into the Diamond Casino and Resort parking lot just to explore Loch Ness Monster ‘beans’ there. Looks like the Casino even drew one of the most legendary mythical creatures in the world to test it.
Redditor Herbzi_Leaf shared an image of the encounter, with the Plesiosaur-like creature towering in the air. Diamond Casino parking lot. Standing almost as tall as one of the streetlamps, the Loch Ness monster was standing still. The monster’s appearance confused Herbzi_Leaf, but its appearance could be due to a modder enjoying one of the game’s assets.
For those who don’t know, the Loch Ness Monster actually made an official appearance in GTA Online, despite being a very small easter egg. When the player tries to run away from Cayo Perico’s Theft, there is a chance for this creature to appear underwater in the distance. Attempting to approach it will cause it to dive underwater and disappear. Submarine commander Pavel will actually comment on the creature under certain circumstances, acknowledge its presence on radar and treat it as a ‘friend’, indicating that he has seen it before this.
Of course, this creature was never intended to appear in a place like the Diamond Casino and Resort parking lot. A mischievous player might make it there as a joke, with the aim of confusing or startling other players. Since the model is a static prop, it cannot be interacted with or killed. Even so, discovering what is equivalent to a dinosaur in the middle GTA OnlineLos Santos’ is definitely weird, even for the players who survived GTA OnlineUFO’s Halloween Event.
Big fans of other Rockstar Games titles may already know that this particular creature doesn’t actually come from Grand Theft Auto. Sound and code detected in Red Dead Redemption 2 refer to a river monster. Textures for GTA OnlineMonster’s match some code in RDR2, leading to the belief that they are one and the same. It’s not clear why it was never used in Red Dead Redemption 2, but Rockstar Games has shared assets between its games in the past, so it’s not too surprising.
While hackers and cheaters enter GTA Online can make the game miserable for other players, sometimes having a bit of harmless fun, as in this case. Players may want to see more river monsters and less grief in the GTA Online.
