GTA Online fans discuss the most ‘annoying’ characters
Hundreds of Grand Theft Auto Online players are listing and debating the most annoying side characters in multiplayer.
Although known for its massively detailed open world sandbox filled with game events and stunning environments, a lot of people enjoy in Grand Theft Auto Online from its memorable cast of supporting characters. From crazy street gang member Lamar Davis to Imani, who was featured in recently GTA Online DLC Contract, the multiplayer mode is filled with characters that have already won over the hearts of many players. With that said, fans are currently taking a moment to dive into the game’s more controversial characters.
Although over seven years old, Grand Theft Auto Online still extremely popular in the gaming community. While most players choose the controller and adjust GTA Online mess with friends, a significant portion of the community is deeply involved in the game simply because of the active role-playing scene and the sprawling story that has been solidified through countless DLCs. Like a TV show, Rockstar Games expanded the story with each major update entry, such as welcome Cayo Perico Heist Expansion, which helps keep the overall story fresh.
With each narrative, players get to meet a whole new cast of unique characters to rub shoulders with. While some were met with open arms and a warm welcome from the community, players completely resented the other characters, claiming that they ruined the multiplayer experience. Now, looks like a 1970s parody of The Beatles Let it be album, Reddit user GleysonRJ posted an image illustrating this point of Grand Theft Auto Online. For those who haven’t started, the characters listed are English Dave, Simeon Yetarian, Sessanta, and GTA Online Auto shop manufacturer, Moodymann.
Due to the relevance of the post, it went viral and scored over 4500 upvotes, as many from the community signed up to pull more of the depicted characters through the mud. Just by looking at the top replies, it’s clear that the widely criticized consensus is that these characters interrupt the flow of the game with their “nasty phone calls” that can’t even be dropped. passed in many cases. On top of that, one user was quick to point out that English Dave, the laid-back rooster featured in GTA Online Expansion of the nightclub, there was actually a phone call bug that messed up some missions.
Although, one of the main reasons why this post is a bit alarming in Grand Theft Auto Online community is that it seems to indicate a decline in the quality of the narrative department. After all, Rockstar has added one of four fearsome characters through the DLC, with the sole exception of Simeon, who has been defeating Los Santos since the game’s launch.
