GRID Legends release date announced in February, along with gameplay trailer
It’s been a few years since we saw GRID but as the upcoming successor to the franchise, GRID Legends, finally has a release date. On top of that, new details about the game’s modes, as well as a reveal trailer, are in the spotlight for fans eager to see what’s hidden in the latest installment. The game promises more gameplay options than the series has ever seen, so it looks like it could be a treat for longtime fans. As long as they don’t expect an open world, but how would that even work with a lap racer?
GRID Legends is set for release on February 25, 2022, which means it’s less than three months away before we’ll be able to make a great jump on the game’s collection of tracks. The game boasts a career mode with over 250 events, along with a story mode. The story mode is called Driven to Glory and will use real actors, led by Ncuti Gatwa, so I’m curious to see how it all plays out. Both drift and elimination modes are back, and there’s even a new mode called power boost racing to spice things up.

However, that’s not all, as there is even a race creation mode that allows players to choose their own matches along with adding ramps, choosing weather and time of day, etc. , featuring enhanced cross-platform multiplayer, allowing players to connect with each other no matter how they’re playing. There are no lobbies or friend requests system, so it’s much easier to quickly and easily participate in multiplayer races.
