Great Salt Lake and Lake Powell reach record-low water levels

Water ranges at Lake Powell, the second-largest reservoir within the nation, reached a document low — under 3,555.10 ft, the earlier document low, reached in April 2005. As of Monday, the elevation on the reservoir straddling the border between Arizona and Utah was at 3,554.51 ft, based on data tracked by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.
