Google Pixel 6a renders leaked online

As usual, Google leaks like a sieve and more details are quickly being revealed regarding their new low-end handset, the Google Pixel 6a.

One tear APK by 9to5Google has revealed details regarding the camera and its processor.

Google Pixel 6a will have 3 cameras, 2 rear and one front:

  • Main 12.2 megapixel IMX363 – the same camera sensor as the Google Pixel 5a.
  • 12 megapixel IMX386 super wide
  • 8 megapixel IMX355 front – this is the same sensor as the Google Pixel 6

The team can also confirm the Google Pixel 6a will use the same Google Tensor GS101 chip as the Pixel 6, which means good performance at a much lower price point.

Pixel 6a Design

According to leaked renders, the upcoming Google Pixel 6a looks no different from the original Pixel 6 smartphone. The smartphone has the same camera bar as the Pixel 6. It also has a glass back and a two-tone design, similar to its sibling.

As can be seen in the rendered image, the volume rocker and power button are on the right side of the frame. The 3.5mm headphone jack appears to be missing, so you’ll have to rely on a Bluetooth connection for audio.

Rumored specs of Pixel 6a

The Google Pixel 6a is expected to feature a 6.2-inch flat OLED display with a punch-hole camera in the center. We now know that the Google Pixel 6a is also expected to have dual rear cameras and an LED flash, and be powered by a Google Tensor processor.

It is expected to be available with 6GB or 8GB RAM with up to 128GB storage.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C.
